This is very close to Plata de Carmen. Lot of restaurants nearby and the night life is very colorful, fun and lot of events at the shore. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms and corridors were very clean, bathroom faucets were s bit old but worked perfect. There is parking opposite to the hotel in a confined space with rope as a gate. We didn’t have any issues and was very comfortable. You can hear the noises outside of people from the room but that faints out with AC noise!
Me and my Best Friend stayed at the Papagayo for a few days. She stayed in a Studio and I stayed in a double room. They were both well equipped, everything worked well. The hotel has a great location, very central in Playa, within walking distance of pretty much everything. I arrived late at night, coming from the airport with Ado Bus and the stop was only a short walk away from the hotel. Walmart is also within a short walk, only a few streets down, which was quite convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.

We were able to get a room perfect for our needs, with a kitchenette, for an extended family vacation. It's really close to the beach and 5th Ave. The rooms were kept clean daily, and the Front Desk staff were always friendly, we really enjoyed our time there.
Great budget hotel and service. Many amenities included in my room such as a kitchenette. Location can be quite noisy so bring ear plugs.

Really loved to go to mexico. This place is so near to coastal area that the breeze can be felt laying on the bed. I would suggest everyone have a spot occupied in this hotel to feel the perfect scenary at the Mexico sea-side.
It was a good place for how cheap it was, only two downsides. The shower didn't have hot water , and the remote didn't work properly. We only stayed there for a night so we didn't ask for replacement, but the staff was cordial so I think they would have helped us with no problem
